  Disappointed, do not recommend them for water softener service or repairs

  I had a Water2Buy water softener which needed a service after 5 years according to manufacturer's recommendation. Unfortunately, the manufacturer went bust so most of the companies that I contacted via Checkatrade refused to service it. Mister Water Softener agreed but I made a mistake and did not ask for a written quote on what work would be carried out as a part of the service. They charged me £125 for work that I could have done myself. The engineer than ran a couple of cycles and tested water hardness again. Concluded my softener is broken and offered to install a new Harvey for £1300.
