  MULTIPLE CONCERNS – Checkatrade unable to resolve

  This firm more than doubled their estimate of costs for repair of a flat roof 16 feet by 4 feet to £4500 stating complex work was needed to replace all the roof timbers. They then did a simpler repair replacing decking but leaving roof timbers untouched and claimed the job was as agreed. Our contract says differently and as Checkatrade could not gain a resolution we are pursuing them through Trading Standards. Their given address is un-numbered and their legal address is a withheld ‘Virtual Business Address’ obtainable from Citizen’s Advice. They appear unlocatable at Companies House. BEWARE.
