  Laying floor

  Quoted, came and took up floors and requested a 50% deposit for laying floor (£500). After several delays, finally came back to do work, and then said that he couldn’t lay the floor because “he didn’t look properly and the floor needed to be levelled.” Asked if he could do that, he said no. Then left. I offered £50 an hour for the pulling up and asked him to refund the remaining £300. Silence. Doesn’t answer calls or return messages. I’ve dropped it now but this is an FYI for prospective clients.

  Re-fitting floorboards

  Yuriy arrived on time, very professional, eager to help in the most affordable way, and even explained what he was doing. He re-fitting my floorboards and explained how I can revamp them myself in an easy way, he also helped with a creaking floorboard and a door. Highly recommend!

  Engineered Wood Floor Installation

  Very experienced and hard working. 2 large, 1 medium and 1 small room completed. Advised us throughout the project on best practice. Went the extra mile for us based on some tight deadlines. Communication was very clear and concise. Highly recommend.

  Oak Flooring Fix

  We had an issue with the oak flooring in a house that we are selling. The house is empty and the heating wasn't on, so the flooring swelled and pushed up a board, forcing it to split down the middle horizontally. We found and contacted Yuriy via Checkatrade and he answered us quickly. He agreed to take on the job and did absolutely fantastic work! He found a solution to the problem and went above and beyond to fix it. We weren't present when the work was being done, so he sent us photos and videos and called us when necessary. I cannot recommend Yuriy enough, he's positively brilliant!

  Laying of laminate flooring

  Yuriy was outstanding in all categories. He was polite and courteous. Barely knew he was there. And when the scope of the little project changed at the start he made sure to confirm it was ok to proceed based on the revised need and associated costs. He completed the job much quicker than expected and was also really helpful to point features or issues outside of his control. Genuinely outstanding tradesman
