Was very happy with the costs and how the work was carried out. We were kept informed of progress and all work was completed within acceptable time scale. Came back promptly for some remedial work. Very happy. Would recommend.

Having a previous bad experience with other roofer (Never trust a 9 score review in Checkatrade again). Walter and Son had the patience to finally fix the leak! They keep trying and coming back until they fixed it with no extra cost! Very kind team, never late and within the promised quote. They left the place clean and tidy not like the previous roofer that left nails all over the gravel parking place. Very happy to find Walter and son fixing another roof in the street. Defo we’ll contact them if needed!!

Walter initially came out to give me a quotation for a repair to a roof leak around a chimney. I also asked him for a quote for re-felting and battening the whole roof, as I had had ongoing problems over the course of a few years. I decided to go with the whole felt/batten replacement, but also added a few extras like some insulation over vaulted eaves, roof vents and some guttering work. Walter and his team were very quick, turned up when promised and did a superb job. He uses top class materials, clearly has a lot of experience and is trustworthy. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.
