Frantzesco is very professional and personable. He restored my rear bedroom window, replaced a small window in the kitchen and repaired a rotten patio door. Woodlark Restoration carried out some repairs to our sash windows and improved the draught proofing. Some other carpentry work carried out in addition to an impeccable standard. All went smoothly on time and on budget. Lovely to deal with too. We had a really good experience with Frantzesco at Woodlark Restoration, who came to fix a broken sash cord, as well as repair two broken window panes and a rotten door sill. He was extremely knowledgeable, accommodating, efficient, on time, clean, courteous, and took a lot of care in his work. We are beyond pleased with the end results and would highly recommend him to anyone in need of window repairs. Job location: BA1My windows are like new! The work is outstanding! All the windows fit perfectly and move smoothly. Frantzesco is a true craftsman- he is also entirely trust worthy, he had a key and let himself in when we weren’t there and is a pleasure to have in the home. I can’t recommend he highly enough.

Woodlark Restoration are experts in the repair, renovation and upgrading of sliding sash windows, wooden casement windows and wooden doors in period buildings in and around Bath.

- Rot repairs using epoxy resin and spliced durable hardwood or Accoya timber.
- Custom joinery including replacement of parts which are damaged beyond repair.
- Complete paint stripping to bare wood plus preventive wood preservation.
- Weighing and counter-balancing of sashes.
- Sash cord (rope) replacement.
- Door and window security enhancements.
- Comprehensive draught-proofing using brush pile neatly fitted in to precisely machined grooves and beading.
- Replacement of cracked, damaged glazing and failed putty.
- Listed building compliant bespoke secondary glazing, using barely visible Plexiglass panels and strong magnetic strips, allowing the customised windows to open as originally intended, with vastly improved thermal performance / insulation properties.
