  We are extremely pleased with the work carried out by Wilcox Electrical Services. Matthew installed a new consumer unit, lights and sockets in our property. Matthew was professional and friendly. He kept us well informed throughout the process. It has been several weeks since the work was carried out and we've had no problems. We are happy that the job was done to a high standard.

  Get a start and end date.

  Mathew did inside and outside work for us. His work is good but the level of service is very poor. On the initial view of the work he gave us a start date which he stuck to but at the end of the day he said he could not return to complete the work for 2 weeks. Consequently our summer house had no electricity for 2 weeks and was unusable in the evenings. Had he have told us this from the beginning I would not have employed him. He then sent his invoice which states please pay within 7 days but the next day he emailed me asking when is he getting the money. Very unreliable.

  My apologies, I’m sorry if this is how you feel. Unfortunately due to the way work was arranged with other clients I was unable to do both jobs at the same time. To rearrange would have resulted in additional jobs being lost. That being said I provided a high quality of work and I sure that both the summer room electrics and main house house electrics were fully compliant and have all up to date protection. Which it did have before work was done.

  Matthew has done electrical work for us and just recently, substantial work for my mum. Matthew is an excellent tradesperson, he is trustworthy, conscientious & hard working. We have no issues with the quality of work done & would recommend him to others.

  Great job. Completed on time and to budget

  The work was completed quickly and professionally. We had external lights fitted on the garage and front and back doors and we are really pleased with how they look. Matthew was extremely easy to deal with, offered practical advice, and turned up when he said he would. Would definitely recommend and would use again. Thanks!

  Matthew completed our full re-wire and we do not have a bad word to say!!! He gave us a really clear quote, breaking down all the different costs. He started on time and completed within the time scale he gave us. He was considerate and incredibly tidy He kept us up to date with what was going on We will definitely be using him for all future work! Thanks Matthew!!
