  Excellent experience

  This was a good experience from our initial enquiry to the felling of the tree, we were informed all the way through the process. The guys turned up on time and and were very competent taking down the tree in a confined position and left the site clean and tidy on completion. I would recommend this company as they are very professional.

  From that to finish, this has been a lovely business to work with. The quote was very detailed and the team followed my request to a T. Where they were unclear, they didn't make assumptions but rather invited me into discussion. Overall for the amount of work I requested, I believe I received a fair price and absolutely received great service and work. Trees felling, stump removals, hedge reduction -- all done neatly to the point where I would be hesitant to declare a tree ever existed in the space. Really happy with the lovely team who were prompt and did a fantastic job.

  Used before will definitely use again

  Our 3rd or 4th time using West Country Tree Services, this time reducing several trees and unruly front & back hedges. All the work was done efficiently and everything left tidy afterwards. Almost (as far as is possible with a large team with chainsaws, equipment and high viz) a case of "you'd hardly know they were there" . Also worth mentioning that communication with the office is always efficient and friendly too from quote request to invoice.

  Pruning of 10 trees, removal of 4 trees, stump grinding of removed trees.

  Here are my thoughts - The pruning was done well and quickly - They argued about the grinding of stumps as they forgot to include on the quote and I didn't pick up on it at the time. - They mostly tidied up but left literally 1000s of apples on the ground where they had pruned 2 large apple trees. I have said yes to recommend but I would advise you very carefully read the breakdown of what's included.

  Complex tree removal

  Complex tree removal Yet again, a first class experience with two teams working together to remove 6 very tall poplars adjoining two houses and an active churchyard and cemetery . The work commenced in torrential rain but protective boards prevented damage and the garden and cemetery were returned early with remarkably little disturbance . As a chartered surveyor, it is always appreciated to have such good contractors who can always be relied upon. Thank you.
