  Works completed - problem arrose but John does not reply! **be warned**

  I called in John as he was recommended by a family friend. John arrived on time and was happy to take on the work (install a laminate worktop with 2 joins) The work was completed in April 2025 but sadly by July 2025 the worktop had blistered on one of the joins. I contacted John on the 29th July, who replied and said he would pop round and have a look - 5th August I had a message to say he cannot make the visit, again on the 12th August the same excuse........20th August I received another excuse. The day of writing this review, 31st August John has decided to ignore my calls and texts.

  I was on annual leave the last 2 weeks of August. I replied to the customers email on Sunday evening before he left this review. I explained that the joint had blown most probably due to water damage as the problem has occurred after a couple of months.

  Kitchen Fitting, Plastering &Electric Work

  Kitchen replacement John was prompt and clear with his communications, and offered lots of useful hints and tips that helped me decide what to buy. The old kitchen was removed, plastered and additional electrics incl new fuse box all in 10 days. John arranged for this work to be done by other trades persons where necessary, including the flooring, plastering and electrical work. He was pleasant and straightforward to deal with, and the work was completed to a high standard for a reasonable price. l would not hesitate to use him again in future.

  Fitting wren kitchen

  After an aevil experience and being left for 5 weeks without a kitchen, John came to the rescue!! If anyone is looking for a friendly, affordable and quality fitter then I would recommend John and his team 1000%. He quoted and started the next day, he and his partner turned up on time every morning. He has great contacts so jobs such as plastering, electrics get done quickly and properly. He was happy to do some extra bits for us and even fixed our toilet whilst he was here!! It has been a pleasure having John to fit our kitchen, I wished I could give him 20 out of 10!!! Thanks John!

He was pleasant and straightforward to deal with, and the work was completed to a high standard for a reasonable price. I've already asked him to carry out other works, and would not hesitate to hire him in future.

  We brought and constructed a new kitchen but needed the worktops and upstands cut to size and fitted

  We contacted John on a Wednesday to see if he could help with our worktop fitting. John checked his diary and came to us promptly as promised in the Friday at 07:50 am. John assessed the job needs, which we're quite complex. There were several items missing from the kitchen delivery which John sourced. The whole job was completed by 12:45 pm ( just short of 5 hrs ). We are super pleased with the result and would certainly recommend and use John again.
