Hi and thank you for taking the time to look at my profile and work, I have now been running my company since 2004 and seem to specialise more in 3 areas now:

Bathrooms, Kitchens and Property Refurbishments (redecorating a room or more and complete top to toe fit outs, I still do the outside hard landscaping if I can get it in Summer (as long as we have good weather)

Do have a look at my latest uploaded pictures, I really enjoy fitting Bathrooms and Kitchens and can offer a complete service – from design, to installation and all steps included along the way, plumbing, units, sanitary ware, tiling, decorating, I do have some excellent people that I can call on – plasterers; roofers and not to mention a good relationship with the local suppliers. I usually like to take ownership of the work from start to finish and do most of the work, and only really calling on help when absolutely required or necessary, keeping you informed along the way.

I pride myself on offering a local service, free quotes and design service and using where ever possible, local suppliers and trades, offering a ‘one stop shop’ style service, expertly fitted and with lines that do actually line up (sorry that’s my ocd – makes me a very good cleaner too)

I have been a member with Checkatrade for quite a few years now and this is a great set up, I have gained many great customers who have become regulars and love to recommend me to their friends, as well as leaving me honest and excellent feedback, so thanks to you guys who have helped me so far.

Below is my original write up when I joined Checkatrade, I have progressed quite some distance with my level of excellence in understanding what needs to be done and completing the jobs to a high standard.

Hi, I set up as 'Handyman with Van' in 2004 - offering a decorating, gardening and general DIY services - I found that my skill set rapidly increased - taking in patios, fencing and shed work - rapidly being registered by Freefoam to install fascias, soffitts and gutters.

In 2006/7 I began to fit bathrooms - self taught in all aspects of plumbing, and tiling - I now was able to offer the full installation- this enabled me to also offer full kitchen refits as well and full property refurbishments - leading me to add another trading name: 'Walden Home Improvements' in 2010.

I have been trading for over 10 years and all my work has been from word of mouth recommendations, repeat and referral of my work.

I pride myself in my reliability, standards, customer relations and attention to detail, offering the best level of service competitively priced and expertly carried out - in short 'Building Your Dream'.
