  Kitchen Walls Transformation

  An old kitchen had been removed, affecting three walls, with broken tiles. One of the walls was plasterboard that was badly damaged with tiles hanging from it. The other two walls were solid but badly scarred. We urgently needed the three walls repaired and plastered, ready for the arrival of the new kitchen. Terry from Walden Construction transformed all three kitchen walls in a day, cutting out and replacing the old plasterboards, repairing the walls and plastering them. His workmanship was excellent and I have no hesitation in recommending his company.

  Repair Water Damaged Suspended Ceilings, Covings & Door Frames

  A severe water leak from the Water Cylinder of the apartment above damaged the suspended ceilings in a bedroom, landing & large corridor; staining the floral coving and adjoining rooms ceilings. Terry & Chris, very professionally removed all the damaged ceilings; put up new plaster boards, plastered over and painted everything. The door frames cracked away from the walls were repaired. It was a work of art, with flooring, staircase & walls all protected. Their prices were the lowest of three quotes. I can highly recommend them for their quality of workmanship, good humour and tidiness.

  Removing wood paneling/stone work and making good

  To be honest I was a bit of cynic with regard to Check A Trade (thinking it was simply an advertising tool) but I have to admit I was wrong. The specialists on Check A Trade are there because they are reliable, courteous, tidy and clearly professional. We were extremely satisfied and would recommend Walden Construction who have inspired me to pursue any further projects through this medium.

  Removed cladding under Kitchen window, installed wall cavity insulation and bricked up under window.

  After a water leak within a cladded wall, Terry recommended to brick it up properly, instead of just repairing the cladding. We decided to go ahead, and are very pleased with the final result. The new brickwork matches the existing wall, and the wall is much better insulated. It now looks absolutely fantastic. We cannot recommend Terry highly enough. He is polite, conscientious, hard working, and very attentive to detail. He was communicative about all the steps to be undertaken. It really was a pleasure having him on-site. Highly recommended!
