The work was excellent

My overall experience was good. Despite endless weather problems at the beginning which delayed the start of the work, the sun room was completed. I’m thrilled with the result despite a few stops and starts which I found frustrating! All in all, getting to know the whole gang added to a great working relationship. It was a bigger job than I expected.

The staff at Village Conservatories have been professional, courteous, helpful and supportive. Replies to emails have always been prompt. A number of different contractors were required for the job, and I was impressed with the way Village Conservatories organised and coordinated the different people needing access. I am delighted with the end result; the oak frames fit in well, and the fully insulated solid roof means I can use the room throughout the year without the extremes of temperature caused by a glass roof. I thoroughly recommend Village Conservatories.

We had planning permission to replace an old small conservatory with a bigger orangery style extension. We got number of companies in, some claimed we did not need building control approval (wrong) or suggested that 4m of uPVC doors would be fine (they will warp in heat). Colin Dicker stood out as incredibly knowledgeable, helped with the final design, did the heat loss calculations and got them approved by building control, used high quality materials from Origin and Atlas. and built the roof frame all in aluminum beams. It may have taken a little longer but it was worth the wait. Excellent

The two pleasant and polite workmen arrived on time. They worked quietly and efficiently. The old door was taken away and the site left tidy.
