  Wainscoting panelling

  From start to finish Ryan was amazing. Contacted me sharp after my posting and was out and completed the job within the week. Extremely professional and my panelling looks top notch. Can’t recommend Ryan enough and will definitely get him back out for future jobs. If you need a carpenter/joiner you shouldn’t be looking further than Viking wood. Promise you won’t be disappointed.

  Excellent custom furniture/ joinery/ room fitting

  Viking Wood provided us an fantastic service during our renovation. Work included fitting out a custom box room (wardrobe, shelves, desk floor/ door trimming) & custom window seating to fit into our kitchen & other finishing touches (floor trims, decorative shelving). They were very responsive, easy to work, made many good suggestions during the project. Would highly recommend to anyone with custom joinery needs.

  Cupboard renovation and new garden gate

  Ryan has undertaken the renovation of two Edinburgh press cupboards for me and built me a new garden gate. All works have been completed to a high standard, and I am really pleased with the results. Renovating the cupboards was not straightforward, given the quirks of an old building, but they now have new shelving, lined walls where needed and new doors, and Ryan always had good ideas of how to overcome the issues. Ryan was courteous and friendly at all times and left the work area clean and tidy. I am happy to recommend him and would use him again for any further joinery works I have.
