  The agreed price included all materials and labour. Vince is friendly and easy to have around the house. Our experience just didn’t match the many positive reviews. I asked him to tidy up an archway after removing two doors leading into the kitchen; he said he’d “price it as he went.” On the final day, he still couldn’t give a figure, then texted the next day adding £300 to the bill. When I questioned, he said it was for materials even though he included this in the original quote. The finish is great, but the unexpected extras and lack of clear communication left us disappointed.

  Plasterboard and skim ceiling plus coving.

  First time using checkatrade, From initial quote through to completion I was very impressed with the professionalism, updates, timeliness and quality of workmanship Vince gave, Felt at ease leaving keys to complete the job whilst out. Would definitely use again and recommend his company. Price paid was the same as the initial quote, ease of payment and a follow up call to make I was happy with the work carried out. Top bloke.👍

  This is not the first time we have called on Vinnie to make our walls look good…and it won’t be the last! Our latest project was the conservatory, we had a ceiling done, a wall and a few fiddly bits. As always Vinnie turned and sorted it without any issues. His work is neat and to a high standard. I never have to worry about the quality of Vinnie’s work..it’s always great! Vinnie is a very nice chap, he’s honest and trustworthy, highly recommended! Thanks Vinnie!

  Highly recommend, fantastic service!

  Vince has previously done some work for us, this time on our new home plastering the entire lounge and media wall we had built, and replacing the coving around the ceiling. The work he has completed is seamless and the lounge was left in immaculate condition. His attention to detail and precision has given our lounge a lovely base to start painting. He is extremely professional and friendly, we would highly recommend for any plastering jobs you need carrying out.

  Artex removal and re-plaster.

  Vince was asked to remove old artex and re-plaster my kitchen ceiling. He was punctual, very professional and tidy. My kitchen looked like a scene from CSI before he started any messy work (he taped and sheeted all of my cupboards and floor to prevent any dust ingress). The finish on our ceiling was of a high standard. I would highly recommend and we will use Vince again as we have other jobs for him to do.

  Trustworthy, friendly, quality plasterer

  Very friendly, reliable tradesperson. Phoned regarding skimming a kitchen wall and filling some trenches from new electrics and was quickly given a date to quote. He popped over to look at the job and gave i felt, honest suggestions to get the job perfect but not in a pushy way. He generally wanted to do the best job. Started work 2 days later and was very careful to be extremely clean and tidy, wrapping all the surfaces and tidying up thoroughly at the end. Fantastic job, the corners are crisp and straight and the plaster so smooth, just as he said it would be. Thankyou, really pleased :)
