    From the start super helpful and friendly. Made to feel at ease and explained everything. The job became bigger than anticipated and Neil supported us and juggled his work load to ensure we had the job done as fast as possible. Kept us informed regular and communication was excellent.     Amazing honest workmanship

    Don’t know where to start with this chap. Absolutely brilliant. Neil came round to give us a basic quote for a damp patch on bedroom wall. His knowledge and easy explanation was admirable. I asked him to take a look at loft. DRY ROT. He and his team worked tirelessly to cure our problem, pointed the chimney and coming back to do gutters. All his work is guaranteed for thirty years. Truly cannot recommend this chap any higher. Cheers Neil and lads for a fantastic job and end result. Martin & Jude forever grateful.

    Damp investigation and subsequent solutions

    Neil came to look at the job and gave his opinion and estimate for the work needed. It was only when he had inspected the loft that dry rot was encountered. Luckily for me he was able to offer a solution to the problem.

    Replace joists under floorboards suffering wet rot and woodworm. Treat timbers and walls.

    Neil gave a free, no obligation quote, indicating the problem and remedial action required. He kept me updated on when they do the job and turned up as planned. He worked issues identified with a freely suspended wall, removed and replaced all joists. Improved the ventilation and treated the timbers and walls. He worked hard and quickly with Ian, causing minimal disruption to myself. A thoroughly well done job with a guarantee for the work. I was pleased that I went with Valley View Plastering and Damp Proofing.

Valley View Plastering started in the Ribble Valley in the 1970s as Fairclough and Hemings. Working on mainly heritage projects to include such places as Chorley Masonic Hall and Preston Town Hall. During the 1980s we became part of the damp proofing industry working alongside Rentokil. Continuing during the 1990s and 2000s in 2013 we became Valley View Plastering and Damp Proofing. Many hundreds of successful projects both large and small later we continue in the fields of our expertise.

We have a combined experience of over 50 years within the damp proofing industry from the 1980s with Rentokil damp proof courses and electro osmosis systems to the 1990s with the pressure injection systems to today with cream based injections and cavity drain membrane systems.

We offer a start to finish service to involve initial survey, a damp report compiled and sent, plastering, plumbing, electrical work and joinery. So we do all the work needed during damp proofing in house relinquishing the need for sub contractors that are often unreliable and expensive.

A comprehensive warranty is included with all the damp proofing work we undertake guaranteeing peace of mind.
