John repainted the living room of my new house. It wasn't a straight forward job as I wanted the colour changed from dark navy to a pale grey, hence many coats were required. The painting is of a very high standard. I wasn't living at the house so John kept me well informed of progress each day, and even worked weekends. The price was very competitive, and John also helped me out with another job for free which was very kind. I would definitely use John again.

The kitchen hadn't been touched since the 1960s so John and Alex had to coordinate all the trades to remove the remains of the old fittings and start again from scratch. The quote covered everything to get to a brand new kitchen, and Alex had the people to solve the inevitable problems that turned up in the old electrics. I wouldn't have believed that such major work could be so quiet and tidy - we live in a flat and I don't think the people around us even realised work was being done. Each stage flowed from the last with a brilliant final finish, great to deal with.

We first hired John to repaint our kitchen and a few bedroom walls. We quickly came to appreciate John and his team for their honesty and attention to detail, which you don't often find in builders! Since then, John's team has replaced a bathroom floor for us (the mess of a previous builder), painted many more walls, and restained the wood of our outdoor windows. We are always impressed with John's team; they are polite, respectful and very good at their respective crafts. John has quickly become my first port of call when I need something done in my home.
