  Wet rot treatment

  I'm so glad we found Darren on Checkatrade. He came when he said he would, identified the problem (wet rot in our dining room) and sorted it out for us with no fuss. He is incredibly knowledgeable and reliable and has decades of experience in the trade. He gave great advice and was also able to help us with other things - treating our rafters for woodworm, fixing floorboards, stitching some brickwork in our chimney and he's hopefully coming back to sort a structural issue with our garage too. An absolutely great guy, trustworthy and reliable. Thank you Darren and Clive!

  High quality work - very pleased!

  We bought a house and the survey found rising damp and inadequate ventilation. Darren gave us a very fair quote, then after we moved in completed the work. Included adding airbricks, repaired timber under floorboards, fixed issues and damp proofing. Darren and Clive were really helpful and gave advice on other issues we’d had in the house. The work was great and high standard, they were honest workers and re-rendered the front for free because they wanted to leave it looking good for us. Left everything really clean. Highly recommend and would definitely use their services for further work.

  Great Service, Great Guy

  We were looking to move into a property but the survey flagged some potential damp issues so we asked Darren to carry out some further investigations. He was quick to answer & very responsive (even when on holiday). He checked it all out with no fuss and got to the bottom of it. Luckily we didn’t need any work doing but his clear knowledge & experience really helped as he relayed his findings. Great honesty too!
