Fantastic service from quote to completion. Excellent work carried out in a timely manner with great looking bathroom as a result. Patrick and team are very polite, courteous and there was no problem they couldn't solve if they came up against any. A reliable company with a can do attitude. Would recommend 100% and will use again.

Patrick, Sophie and the team could not have been better. From the first conversation right through to delivery, I was involved every step of the way and they've not only met expectations they have exceeded them (and made a huge number of people jealous at the new bathroom they have installed). They could not have been more accommodating and understanding with the ramifications that comes with doing something for the local council. I honestly cannot recommend them highly enough, and if ever I need somebody to do any work for me - they will always be the first people I'll call!

The job comprised taking up defective wooden floor in our hallway, taking care not to damage the existing (recently redecorated) walls and skirtings and then laying new ceramic floor tiles on cement boards and uncoupling mat to prevent future movement. The project was challenging owing to having to work around and below an expensive oak staircase in a confined space. The job commenced on time and was completed on time. The team were helpful, considerate, tidy, efficient and polite. We are delighted with the finished work and will definitely use Universal Development’s services again.

Patrick and the team were brilliant from start to finish. After an initial visit from Patrick we were contacted via email very quickly by Sophie with a detailed and competitive quote and scope of work requires. When I added items on that I wanted to be done it was never any trouble and further quotes we promptly issued. Communication throughout from Sophie has been excellent and helped us feel in safe hands. The quality of work and professionalism of the team has been fantastic throughout and they were all so polite and respectful of the house, my kids and the dog. Would recommend 100%

Patrick and co had a pretty large job on thier hands and this house is over 100 years old with many old DIY jobs being done during that time all the walls and paintwork needed doing and 3 rooms had carpet removed and flooring put down the two toilets/bath were totally replaced as was the shower two rooms needed replastering due to what lay behind the many layers of wallpaper! It took several weeks to complete, well around 6 weeks but it was no small job- would I recommend and use them again ? -Yes not the cheapest but well worth the extra as all products used were mid range quality.

Unfortunately because of the waiting for other estimates to come through I lost the slot available through no fault of theirs, however I found them very professional, listening and communicating to my concerns and very respectful of my property The lady who answers the phone was also very knowledgeable and very upfront regarding the dates & even went out of her to offer their services if I had any concerns re prices etc. I would have felt very comfortable with this company carrying out the work & wouldn’t hesitate to pass on their details
