    Seal on washing machine

    Chris was reliable and very reasonably priced. He fitted the seal within 20 minutes. Would absolutely use him again and recommend. Very polite and got the job done!

    Chris was great. He got in touch quickly from posting my job and was brilliant from that point. messaged on day to confirm timing for arrival and even tried to fit me in a day earlier than first booked. Unfortunately I was busy. Very friendly and completed the work quickly. would definitely recommend.

    Diagnosing problem with oven

    Chris arrived promptly and conducted a thorough investigation of the oven. He gave me excellent advice. Chris is extremely courteous, knowledgeable and professional. I would not hesitate to call him for any future appliance problems and recommend him unreservedly.

Ultimate Appliance Services is a well established independent engineer offering repairs and sales of appliances at reasonable rates, covering Hampshire and into Dorset. I believe in repairing where possible instead of “replacing and wasting” and my pricing structure reflects this.


I’m usually able to offer next day or same day visits as I know just how much we miss our appliances when they let us down. Where possible, a first time fix is everyone’s desired outcome however this can’t always be the case. A quick phone call can help establish the probability and in some instances if a visit is required at all.

About me - why choose me?

From an early age I have been fascinated by household appliances and have known what I’ve wanted to do for a job from a very young age. As well as being an engineer by trade I appreciate the older appliances before my time and have a collection of washing machines and dryers from the 1960’s through to the 1990’s that I’ve taken the time to source the parts for, restore and use from time to time.


Because my job is also my hobby I am passionate about what I do, I try my best to keep my customers happy and their appliances running again with minimal fuss.


Please note - I do not install parts supplied by customers on an insurance and comeback basis. All parts I supply come with a warranty from me because I know and trust my sources. Ahead of a visit, please secure pets away from the vehicle and the engineer ahead of arrival. Sadly I do not cover SO41, SO42 and SO43 areas. Appliances must be on ground floor level (Integrated ovens excluded).
