I needed a stair carpet fitted with very little notice. I wanted a stair lift fitted and the carpet had to go in first. Tyrone and crew were most obliging and measured and fitted our large awkward shaped stairs and landing quickly. They did a good job and we are pleased with it.

We don’t recommend Torquay Carpets and Flooring or their owner, Tyrone. At first, they seemed like a reliable company. They charge a premium, which we were happy to pay, since they claimed to handle everything. The carpet and fitting were fine. The service was not. We asked for a stair runner, shared photo examples by email, and confirmed everything in person. What we received wasn’t what we agreed on. When we raised this, Tyrone brushed it off with “it won’t even look bad anyway.” Granted, the final result doesn’t look bad. But that’s not the point. Carpet is subjective. That’s why there

Found Torquay Carpet and Flooring extremely helpful, reliable and very professional. Tyrone and Scot went out of their way at short notice to get our bedroom and stair carpet layed within a week. Very happy with the finished job. The fitters were friendly and very professional leaving the job clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend Torquay carpet and flooring.

The staff are welcoming and helpful. They are customer focused rather than hard sale oriented and worked to my tight deadline. The fitters were also excellent. I would recommend this company without hesitation. In fact in the new year I will be reaching out to them again to have additional rooms carpeted.
