  Phillip is an excellent fellow - Not only a skilled craftsman, but also very personable. He clearly enjoys his work, which is done to a high standard. I would recommend him absolutely.

  Great work a new built in wardrobe.

  Phil built a custom built-in wardrobe for us and did a fantastic job. From the beginning of the process, he has been very attentive, and keen to make exactly what I had in mind. He clearly has good experience, asked lots of really helpful questions to help guide me, and made suggestions whenever appropriate. He completed the work in just a few days, and was always punctual and super friendly. He goes above and beyond, and is always very happy to get on the phone to chat through any questions I have. We will be having him redo some flooring for us to in a few weeks.

  Phil of Top Timber did a really good job of replacing and fitting our cupboard hinges in Feb 2026. He was careful and thorough and provided lots of tips on how best to address and fix issues . It was nice to see you again Phil, thanks for your help.

  Phil arrived at the house at 8am as arranged, he was courteous, and extremely professional, he worked constantly from 8am-3.30pm, he went the extra mile filling holes in the walls, to ensure water would not penetrate any where. His work was extremely neat and I couldn’t ask for more, he also pointed out to me other issues, possibly why water was coming in. I absolutely would recommend him, to anyone who is looking for carpentry & joining projects he was marvellous, I have already asked him to do another job at a different property, Phil is the best!!
