We have used Craig many time and he is always reliable. We contacted Craig to remove and rebuild a box around our boiler flue which needed replacing. Craig did a fantastic job as always. The areas Craig has done is a huge improvement,however. whilst there has been some prep, it is clear that this hasn't been done all over nor to a good standard. we had to at one stage, point out an area that was missed. he left our home before we had a chance to really look. He also left all the mask tape down, this was put down on Friday and not removed the Tuesday he left. there are patchy areas. really disappointing and not a painters finish. he offered to return but we were advised against this by friends, family and other tradesman. not only this, there is paint on our floor! see photos.Verified reviewerJob location: PO1110 Repaint newly plastered ceiling and decorate whole living room

Firstly let me say a thank you for visiting my Checkatrade page. My name is Craig Whittingham and I run this carpentry and decorating business.
I have only recently started up on my own as a sole trader but I have many years' ( 30+ ) experience.
First and foremost I have spent my long career as a carpenter, working on various projects including cruise liners and in the dockyard on a number of royal navy ships.
I also carry out all aspects of decorating work both internal and external.
