  Complete rewire - A great experience with a great guy

  I recently had my 1930s house completely rewired from top to bottom by Tony - from the consumer unit to every switch, socket and light fitting. He has an encyclopaedic knowledge of everything electrical - which is exactly what you should expect from a qualified electrician. His quote was extraordinarily detailed and he kept me in the loop at every stage of the job. I would not hesitate to recommend him - plus he's a great guy and very easy to get along with.

  I am sure that Tony did all the electrical work to a high standard and to comply with the currant regulations. However I feel he should have consulted me more about the placement of some of the sockets before going ahead with the work. He left me with all the rubbish, which as a disabled person was hard to dispose of. He left the old switches and sockets still in the walls which I have had to remove. I am sure with more thought some of the wiring could have been routed differently which would have left me with less remedial work.

  Fitting additional sockets

  I needed two new sockets fitting. One inside and one outside. Tony came to check things first and we agreed the best place to locate them. Then he came a couple of days later and completed the job with no fuss and was clean and tidy. A good job all round and would recommend
