  Fit new double wall socket

  Contacted by T.Murray Electrics in reply to my small job posting on here. Gave me a price that I was very happy to pay. Tommy arrived the next morning, exactly on time. He replaced the wall socket in my kitchen, which had been getting hot, with a matching one I supplied. Before switching the electricity back on he used his testing equipment to check all was good. This test show up another unforeseen problem, which was loose cables in a couple of other wall sockets. Having gone around and checked all the sockets in my kitchen securing the loose cables. He completed the job and charged no extra.

  Always our go to electrician

  Tommy has done quite a bit of work for us since moving into our home last Summer. He has always been friendly, informative and professional. Me & my husband know very little about electrics, which can be intimidating when we need work doing. However, Tommy makes us feel relaxed. He explains everything and gives fair advice. Overall, a genuine and sincere tradesman - we would not hesitate to contact Tommy again going forward when we need more electrical work doing. Thank you for all your hard work so far :)

  From when I first contacted Tommy, he quickly replied and explained my options for several jobs I needed doing. He was so knowledgeable and helpful and put my mind at rest straight away.

  Safety check / fault finding

  Tommy was the first to respond to my request for some fault finding. I suspected the previous owner of the property was a bit of a rogue DIY / short cut specialist. After agreeing that a safety check was probably the best place to start, he worked through the many faults my property presented. The bodged board needed replacing, endless joints, sockets and dodgy wiring repaired and checked in the house and out buildings. It turned out tho be a mammoth task. Tommy did a fantastic job, communication through out was excellent, quality of work is brilliant!! Very highly recommend T Murray Electric

  Fitted some brass electrical switches and sockets.

  Tommy arrived on time. Was friendly and very informative of what the job entailed. He also discovered a dangerous situation ( and illegal) with the current wiring, which he fixed. Fixing that alone was worth him turning up. Didn't agree a price before the work started. But the price he charged was very reasonable. Turned up with lots of equipment and a hoover. Mentioned the job could entail some mess as it involved chiselling into plaster walls. The amount of mess created was minimal and he cleaned up after him. Would highly recommend Tommy.
