This job started off promising but quickly declined due to Taylor’s lack of integrity and shoddy workmanship. He came for an inspection, agreed to the job and noted no issues. Upon removal of the carpet, he noted the floor needed levelling which we agreed to but could not pay for that immediately. He agreed to go ahead with the job without levelling but once we left the property, he quickly abandoned the job and left me with no flooring down and left the carpet for us to dispose of. Absolutely horrific experience, do not book this man.

Thank you for your feedback. Prior to the booking I inspected the job and provided a quotation based on what could be seen before the carpet was removed. Once the carpet was lifted it became clear the subfloor required levelling before laminate could be installed correctly. As a professional I could not install flooring onto an unsuitable subfloor as it would likely fail. For that reason the installation did not proceed. The review refers to “shoddy workmanship”, however no flooring installation was carried out.
