2.67 Avoid Damaged my property then sent an astronomical bill!

This company was called out to replace a chrome kitchen tap, in my holiday home. When I received a bill for almost £300 I was shocked and asked for an explanation. I was told that they didn’t bring a tap when they called to do the job and had to go to the merchants to get one they charged £98 for the tap currently available for £65 and almost £200 for fitting it. They also damaged my sink when installing it. No offer of a discount or any reduction was made when I pointed out that when going to fit a kitchen tap they should have taken a couple , the one fitted was basic Do not use this firm!!Verified reviewerJob location: TR1910 Good , reliable Plumbers

First time I’ve used Tierney Plumbing. Luke and Chris arrived writhing 90 minutes from my initial call . They repaired my cistern and at a reasonable cost. Job location: TR18To find a plumber that you can trust is worth its weight in gold.. We had a problem with a leak in our cistern and phoned Luke around 9.30 am on Monday . He was able to get to us within 2 hours , and arrived at the specified time. The cistern needed a few parts and the job was completed in less than an hour .
