His quote was substantially higher than the others. We were after repairs to the present roof. I think he was looking at replacement of the roof due to its age and condition.
This may have been the better option for the long term, but did not suit our time constraints or budget.

Installed a complete new roof on my house and garage. New tiles, boards, breathable felt, battens with new dry verges. Also installed pvc facia and soffits. All work was performed safely with professional scaffolders, roofers, joiners and labour's. Personnel were polite and approachable and cleaned and tidied up at the end of each day before leaving. Very pleased with a job well done within budget and on schedule.

Roof replacement

A quotation was given to replace the roof and repair the chimney stack. The quote was accepted and the team got straight on with the job. They worked quickly and efficiently, and communication between us and then team was excellent. Despite a couple of unforeseen issues which they sorted out, the job was done well and to the quotation. Friendly, hard workers. They also tidied up well after the job was completed. Would recommend the whole team at Thistle Roofing Aberdeen.

Emergency dormers in need of fixing.

We were in desperate need to get the dormers fixed. Turned out they were in worse state than expected. The people at Thistle Roofing were prompt in coming out, and getting the job done. They made an excellent job, were polite, cleared up after them, and were very good at communicating as to when they were coming and throughout getting the job done. Was very pleased with the work that was carried out. The quality of the work was very good, and I would certainly use them again. All this is quite unusual for roofers in my experience. Would definitely get Thistle Roofing again.
