    Horrible Service!wicked Don’t trust him with your boiler

    Horrible Service from Gas Guru, was very rude and turned off our boiler without our consent thereby leaving us without hot water or heating. He was abrupt and lacked communication skills. He found it difficult to understand our request to replace a leaky diverter valve, got frustrated and left the boiler in a rush muttering that he had left the boiler the way he met it. We could not prevent him from leaving and alas the boiler failed to come up for heating. We will be spending the night in a freezing house because he can’t come out tonight. He said he had turned off the chat on checkatrade 😩

    *Customer insisted I'd visited before, but later conceded I hadn't *Customer showed me service certificate from previous engineer recommending new diverter valve *Customer was unable to contact previous engineer *Examined boiler, leaking due to needing a new diverter valve *Priced up job * Customer kept insisting that I do it cheaper *I made decision to leave premises *I received a call 4 hrs later threatening to call the police unless I returned that night *I blocked further calls at this point *NO PAYMENT WAS TAKEN *Reporting customer to Checkatrade

    Hot water cylinder repair

    Fast response, and reasonable price.

    Matthew responded to my request for a quote within minutes, and he was with me in less than 15 minutes as he was close by. He made a temporary fix to the leak in my boiler, and ordered the part that was needed to be fitted. Reasonable price, he explained everything and showed me the issue in the boiler, and was very friendly. I'll definitely be using him again.

    Low pressure on the boiler

    Got in contact within minutes, thorough and informative service. In a moment of fluster and worry, Matt assisted us over the phone to avoid a call out for a job that we was able to be walked through. This is the second time we have used Matt and he is now saved as our gas man! Thank you so much Matt.

    Boiler repairs and new install - would recommend

    I've used Matthew several times - both for a repair of an older boiler, and a new install. I would definitely recommend him and will use him again. He's very responsive, and will prioritise emergency callouts, including unsociable hours (he's visited us twice on a Sunday) and is always friendly, speedy and honest. Like a lot of good fitters, he's in high demand, so it can be challenging to pin him down for a bigger job at busy times, but most recently he installed a new combi boiler for us in a matter of hours. Affordable, clear communication, clean and tidy, Gas Safe registered. Thanks again!
