Barnaby has a personal touch in him visiting the site, while also making good balance of effective technology to take you through the journey. He advised on pros and cons of designs, ensuring our concerns are addressed. The pragmatic approach in handling our project ensured that the designs and approvals were timely. I would highly reccomend their services due to the great value I experienced.

  We used Design Social to help us design our side extension, and Barnaby was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Even when unexpected hurdles came our way, he kept us at ease, communicated everything clearly, and resolved issues as quickly as possible. He understood our deadlines and met every single one of them, making the whole process feel smooth and stress-free. Barnaby was incredibly understanding and came up with ideas and design solutions that we hadn’t even considered. We ended up choosing several of his suggestions, and we’re so glad we did—they’ve made the design even better than we originally imagined. We have another project planned in a few months, and we won’t hesitate to use Design Social again. We would highly recommend Barnaby and the team to anyone looking for a professional, creative, and reliable architectural design service.

  Fast and reliable - 100% recommend.

  Spoke with Barnaby via email and over the phone. Always got back to me quickly and nothing was too much trouble! Discussed the project in ways that made it easy for a layman to understand. We were working to a tight schedule and this was not a problem. Price was reasonable when compared to competitors. Would 100% recommend.

  Architectural services.

  Barnaby from The Design Social has supported us with our project from design, to approval with planning, building regulations application, and party wall agreement. He has been informative throughout the process. Getting the project approved initially, a hurdle which he overcame, liasing with planning approvers and updating us along the way. An all round excellent service provided up untill now, and we can finally start our project. I believe there is always room for improvement in any business for me I would have liked communication to be more efficient, however professionalism prevails.

  Excellent service for planning application.

  I have no hesitation in recommending Barnaby Robinson and his team at The Design Social. His professionalism and expert knowledge were evident from the very first phone call. He took away all the stress I have previously encountered when making a planning application. He dealt easily with unexpected request and additional information needed by the local authority, because we live in a 300 year old, locally listed cottage. The whole service was excellent from start to finish
