  Guttering, water leaks. General building works

  I needed Various works within a rented property. This obviously required a large amount of trust as I am a landlord currently living at a distance from the property. All works were carried out cleanly and without fuss. I would recommend unhesitatingly. quite simply he did what he said he would. A rare event nowadays

  Bathroom replacement

  Replacing an old tried bathroom with a new shower, basin and toilet. Required completely new plumbing, some electrical work, waterproof boarding, skimming and very smart tiling. All done to a great standard. We are very pleased.

  Structural works, kitchen wall removed steel beam installed

  Top quality service, very pleased with the work completed by the Carpenter and Sons. Tony and the team did a fantastic job in removing our kitchen wall and installing a steel beam for a future kitchen extension. They carried out the work to a very high standard with minimal mess and kept us informed throughout the process. They were great in giving advice in areas which me and my wife hadn’t even thought about this was extremely helpful. We will most definitely be using them again in future projects and would not hesitate to recommend them to our family and friends! Thank you

  I put a request in with my fingers crossed that I would get a 'good guy' as the job had to be completed in my absence. I needn't have worried... The Carpenter and Sons turned up trumps. They did all I asked for in getting my tenants safe again by having the front door back to standard. They didn't just do the job asked but checked over all aspects. I have other properties and will be asking them to do other work.

  Fitted new electric fire and decorated lounge, bathroom and 2 en-suites

  Fitted heavy Brockenhurst fire by British Fires. Involved cutting out plasterboard, precision drilling and resin fixing studs into wall, securing a mounting panel, re-plastering and of course fitting the fire. The decoration included all woodwork, walls and ceilings. Tony and Christian’s workmanship is top quality and professional. They are friendly, open, honest and a pleasure to have around. They worked cleanly, ensuring carpets were protected throughout and paid great attention to detail. We have no hesitation in recommending them to others and hope to have them back.
