  Fitting an outside tap and shut off valve.

  I was quoted £130 all in and decided to accept the quote. The plumber fitted me in at short notice, went through the work to be done and went to get some parts. Upon his return, he did a great job, but tried to charge me a £150. When I queried this, he said it was due to extra parts purchased (not discussed or agreed to). I then had to negotiate with the boss and we eventually settled at £140, but it left a sour taste in the mouth. Later that day I contacted the boss for an invoice and guarantee for the work and was told it would be sorted. I then chased him twice more over 2 weeks and still haven't received anything or acknowledgement to my messages, nearly a month later. This again has disappointed, what was initially a great service and job.

  Sealant replacement

  Hi Joanne, As we explained, you had more than one leak, all your grout about edge has failed and also the silicone need replacing around all the door and seals either replaced and repaired. So the £80-£100 you paid for the first visit was inspection and seal around shower tray. We are sorry that you thought a new shower installation would cost £80 lol

  Very happy with good uncomplicated clean work.

  Very pleasant initial chat on WhatsApp once I confirmed the job with them it was very quick from dropping by for measurements, quote start and finish. Work was clean, quick and well executed. It took only 2 days and even some unexpected piping didn't stop them or slow them down.

  Amending existing pipework suitable for future radiator.

  Work was done, but by rude engineers who aggressively pushed for immediate payment which had not previously been communicated. No cleaning after their work, bits of materials and cuttings left, essentially a large mess was left for me to clean, tidy and throw materials away. Phoned to complain, received and apology, and was happy a promise was made as a compromise to fit the radiator once arrived. Now following up for them to fulfil their promise, I have been completely ghosted. I have been calling and messaging for several weeks, no response at all. Extremely disappointing, dont recommend

  Concealed toilet cistern wouldn’t stop filling

  Scott responded to me posting the job within minutes, agreed an appointment time and messaged me to say he was on route. On inspection, access to the cistern was almost impossible but Scott found a way and completed the job to a very high standard and for a fair price. I would use Scott for any other plumbing jobs and would highly recommend Thames Plumbing and Heating to anyone else

  The proprietor is a really kind individual who is helpful, courteous, and honest. The Thames Plumbing & Heating crew installed a boiler for me, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Fantastic crew and outstanding service!
