  Fault finding and update earth bonding

  Due to a fault found by an SGN engineer that seemed to suggest the internal gas supply was live I had a need for a quick response as this had resulted in a circuit supporting fridge and freezers had been isolated. TDR responded within 24hrs, which was fantastic support. On top of that TDR is a very approachable person and knowledgable about his current career. I would highly recommend TDR to anyone in need of a professional and efficient electrician.

  New Eldctric Boiler

  I contacted Tom as I required a new boiler. It was a complex issue as I had a back boiler and no suitable area to support a commonly used traditional gas combi. I needed a team, an electrician to work with a plumber? Do you know how hard this is to find??!! Tom project managed the entire process. He organised a plumber, organised invoiced and ensured all compliant with building control. It was a big job. I owe Tom an enormous amount of gratitude. They both worked together, plumbing electrical completed and corresponding. Excellent work by both sets of trades. Completely trustworthy.

  EICR

  Tom undertook an EICR in a 19th century commercial premises that had previously two houses and that has various outbuildings - so quite complicated. Tom undertook the work out-of-hours to minimise the impact on the shop and provide a very detailed thirty-seven page report with photographs. The findings and recommended remediation work was honest and proportionate - no attempt to take advantage by spurious findings or inflating the necessary work. A very reasonable price.

  Kitchen and Bathroom wiring jobs

  We had some tricky wiring jobs in our kitchen and bathroom, plus some problem power points and we were very impressed with Tom Read's " can do" approach. He quickly assessed the task, did a good and tidy job, turned up when said he would and stuck to his price. I would certainly recommend him.

  EICR and remedial works

  Tom from TDR Electric recently carried out and Electrical Installation Condition Report for me. I was very impressed with the service I received. Tom was prompt, courteous, and explained everything clearly throughout the process. He was very helpful in answering all my questions and making sure I understood the work being done. The job itself was completed efficiently and to a high standard. He also cleaned up thoroughly afterwards, which I really appreciated. Overall, I was very pleased with Tom's service and would highly recommend him to anyone needing an electrician.

  To fix our bathroom fan and a LED spotlight in the bathroom

  Tom respond to our initial enquiry quickly and asked detailed questions about the job before he arrived. He was very reliable and advised us of his ETA when he was on route to us. He was professional and completed the job well. We would definitely recommend him.
