I’ve used Synergy for 5–6 years for plumbing and boiler work. When I needed a fridge freezer connected without the correct pipe, they advised one from Amazon. It was wrong, poorly fitted, and I was told to find an adapter with no guidance. After no resolution, I fixed it myself. Follow-up support was dismissive, leaving me £216 out of pocket for an incomplete job.

Prior to installation, you were advised that fridge freezer connections are appliance-specific and may require manufacturer fittings. This was clearly stated in the quotation and discussed before works were accepted & proceeded.
We advised a universal fitting could be tried, but if unsuitable, the correct part would need to be sourced from the manufacturer. Once obtained, we offered to return free of charge to complete the connection.
While you chose to complete this yourself, the advice and limitations were clearly outlined and agreed in advance.
