I thought the floors in both the rooms would need replacing because the boards were in such bad condition but Tim and Andrew are miracle workers. They replaced the broken boards, removed an old fire place, filled and removed nails, sanded and treated the floors. Incredible attention to detail and value for money for the work that was done

Absolutely top-notch company. I've used them three times - for floor-sanding/ varnishing, ditto wooden tables, and a big floor-laying job - and the quality is always first-class. Tim, their chief worker, takes obvious pride in his work, and is meticulous in achieving a perfect finish. An added bonus is that he's very neat and tidy, and quiet (no noisy music!), so it's a pleasure having him around. Andrew, the CEO, is utterly charming and generous with his advice.

Great job carried out efficiently and with a lot of care and attention to detail. The floors look beautiful and have reflect loads more light now that they've been sanded and sealed. What a transformation and not something we could have carried out ourselves. Highly recommended.

Sussex Wood Floors were fantastic. From initial visit to talk us through options, to the flexibility during the process to give us time to view various varnish options before committing to a final selection. Their repair work was particularly impressive - large gaps in the original parquet were expertly matched with reclaimed materials. Really was a great job. Can’t recommend enough.

A very good experience. Andrew was knowledgeable and helped me decide what was the best solution for my home. And Tim is a true craftsman, taking pride in his work and taking care of even the smallest details. He was also very tidy and incredibly low maintenance - a pleasure to have around for the two weeks of this engineered oak flooring installation. I love my floor!
