I have only praise and gratitude for Stan and his skills as a carpenter. He took our plans and worked tirelessly to create practical but really well designed and stylish garden stairs, balcony, shed and storage areas. We absolutely love the finish and look. Stan worked very hard,brought the job in on time and in budget, and clearly Ioves what he does. I highly recommend him and his work. Thanks Stan.

I would highly recommend Stan to the Checkatrade community. He did an excellent job of sanding and oiling our floors and was reliable, considerate and efficient. I also hugely appreciated his clear and honest communication.

From the beginning, Stan listened to what we wanted and came up with a design which was perfect. He worked quickly and efficiently, always tidying away at the end of the day. We are super pleased with the result and would highly recommend Sussex Stronghold.

Stan did a fantastic job completely gutting my kitchen & starting from scratch. He’s a completely lovely guy who focuses on the details, even if it means extra effort on his part. I appreciated how he organised & managed all the other professionals needed - (electricians, plumbers, plasterers, decorators, etc) ensuring everything was done in the right order. He even took the time to research different products to perfectly achieve the floor finish I was after. Always on time, clear in his communication, and tidy at the end of each day, Stan made the whole process smooth and worry-free.

Excellent work done removing old flooring and laying new wooden floor, trimming doors to size and rehanging done by very reliable workman completing task on time and at a reasonable price, would highly recommend this person.
