I would highly recommend Stan to the Checkatrade community. He did an excellent job of sanding and oiling our floors and was reliable, considerate and efficient. I also hugely appreciated his clear and honest communication.

From the beginning, Stan listened to what we wanted and came up with a design which was perfect. He worked quickly and efficiently, always tidying away at the end of the day. We are super pleased with the result and would highly recommend Sussex Stronghold.

Stan did a fantastic job completely gutting my kitchen & starting from scratch. He’s a completely lovely guy who focuses on the details, even if it means extra effort on his part. I appreciated how he organised & managed all the other professionals needed - (electricians, plumbers, plasterers, decorators, etc) ensuring everything was done in the right order. He even took the time to research different products to perfectly achieve the floor finish I was after. Always on time, clear in his communication, and tidy at the end of each day, Stan made the whole process smooth and worry-free.

Excellent work done removing old flooring and laying new wooden floor, trimming doors to size and rehanging done by very reliable workman completing task on time and at a reasonable price, would highly recommend this person.

Stan built a stud wall partition for me, to divide a room, plaster boarded,wall papered and decorated

Stan and his team Re-roofed my rear elevation of the house with new shingles, repaired a wi down frame, and door threshold and took down a timber pergola. They very polite, helpful and good communication. They produces a quote quickly and once I'd paid deposit for materials they set a date which worked for me and turned up and completed as agreed. They left the job each day tidy, and cleaned up once they finished. Would recommend Stan and his team.
