  Professional, efficient and reliable, with clear communication

  We used Sussex knock throughs to remove the wall diving the kitchen and living room, and I found them to be professional communicative and highly efficient in their work. I felt at ease and in safe hands as Larry explained what they would be doing. Building works is never easy around younger children but I was impressed at how tidy and clean things were as we returned home each day. We are delighted with the finish it’s even better than I imagined. I fully recommend Larry and his team, it was made stress free, through their reliable hard work and professionalism.

  Wall Knock Through & RSJ installations

  We engaged Sussex Knock Throughs to remove a wall and install an RSJ between our living and dining rooms. From the outset, Larry and Callum were professional, accommodating, and communicative. We felt the project was in safe hands from the get-go, especially with them handling the Building Control process seamlessly. A total pleasure to work with—we wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others.

  Skilled, professional and friendly

  Larry and co did a major internal wall knock through, flush to the wall. A very technical job but the finish is fantastic. Also high professionalism throughout - they even tidied part of the living room each day so we could use it in the evening. Highly recommended!

  Excellent renovation

  This was a recommendation, from the first contact with Larry everything was taken care of by his excellent team. I was away on holiday when most of the work took place (walls taken down and supports put in place) I was constantly updated as the work progressed. Larry also helped with dry walling and electrics that were not planned. The final finish was absolutely perfect. 100%

  Removal of structural wall

  Larry and his team were outstanding throughout. This was our first experience of doing major building work (and living here through it!) and they took care of everything expertly. The job took 4 weeks and involved removing a large structural wall, installing picture frame steel beams, blocking up a window and plastering. Communication was excellent throughout, the costs came in on budget and in line with the quote, a few unexpected issues were taken in their stride, and it was a pleasure having the guys in our home- I was actually sad on their last day! Can’t wait to use them for the next job.

  Knocked through a structural wall and fitted steel beam

  From first contacting Larry he was fast at replying and communicated fully. He quickly came round, had a look and gave me a great quote that was exactly the amount we had in mind. He was able to start work within a few weeks, which was perfect as we were tight on time. Chris was the guy who first came round to start knocking the wall down and he was great. He was very tidy, always on time and super helpful with advice on other things I was DIY’ing. Beam went in smoothly and building control happy with work. I would highly recommend these guys for any structural stuff
