We found Tim and were impressed by his work and reviews, arranged for him to lay some Indian sandstone slabs for a patio and path initially we were happy with the works. After a short while (3-4months) we noticed slabs were becoming loose in more than one area and the base and foundations seemed to not be sufficient. Over the last 18 months, we have sent him countless emails and made phone calls asking for him to rectify the poor workmanship. Despite his promises to return, he has never corrected these issues and we are unable to use the path and patio.

It looked lovely for the first couple of weeks and I wrote a glowing review on Checkatrade. However it then started to chip and break up. I complained to him and he came round and agreed that it ALL needed relaying as it was now looking so bad - he said it was because it had been so hot when he was laying it. Anyway, the months went by and he didn't contact us because the weather was too wet or too cold etc. He appears now to have stopped trading and hasn't answered his phone..

Tim and his co-worker Jim worked professionally and reliably throughout and have transformed our front garden's paving stones, which now look much more attractive. Moreover, because the work wasn't as much as Tim originally quoted for, he was happy to reduce the price for us. I should also add that he gave up a morning's work to rectify a drainage problem with a magnificent planter that he had constructed for me during the summer.

Tim Grainger and Jim did a tremendous job on my path. It is impressive. They worked consistently, carefully and reliably. I am grateful.

Tim Grainger and Jim completed the job to our total satisfaction. They were very amenable to changes we requested, even though in some cases this meant re-doing some work, and they consulted us every step of the way to ensure we got what we wanted. They are very pleasant individuals and it has been a pleasure having them do the work.

Reasonable quote, which we accepted. Came at times they said they'd come and completed the work in the agreed timeframe. Work looks very good.
