Ben and Gary are the best! From the first time we met fof a quote to the completetion of the job I cannot fault them. They explained everything involved and as soon as the weather was warm enough they arranged a time to start. They work so hard and so well together thd job driveway was completed in 3 days . They were also incredibly clean and tidy workers which is such a bonus. The drive looks beautiful . We absolutely love it! Resin Bound, Tarmacadam & Tar & Stone driveways are much easier to maintain than other conventional surfaces, being very low maintenance, requiring less effort to keep looking its best from the homeowner.
- Resin Bound Surfacing is a mixture of natural stone completely coated in UVR resin which is then hand trowelled down onto your existing surfaces (excavation also may be required) leaving a smooth attractive non-slip finish with no loose stones, a main advantage of resin bound surfacing is that it keeps a lot cleaner than many other surfaces, also because its permeable, water drains away instantly (no more puddles) requiring less cleaning and maintenance.
- Tarmacadam Surfacing has withstood the test of time, invented around 200 years ago by John Loudon Mcadam, it is commonly used on roads, car parks, driveways, and paths, when laid correctly it is a very hard-wearing low maintenance surface, usually black in color but can have a colored stone added to give it an attractive finish.
- Tar & Stone Surfacing is a very cost-effective surface for larger areas or customers who have a more limited budget in mind for their new driveway, it can be installed on top of some existing surfaces and can be installed all year round, available in two colors, grey granite or golden pea shingle.
