I am extremely happy with the work carried out by Ash and Jim of Stone and Wood Landscaping. Very professional job. Very easy to bounce off ideas with them as plans changed during the work carried out. Very pleasant to deal with, always upbeat and carried out the work to a very high standard. At the end of the day they cleaned up and left everything in good order ready to return the next day. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Ash listened & designed a whole area of our garden. The old decking, which leads from the kitchen, needed replacing: Ash & Jim thoughtfully improved on the original, utilising the space and adding a wood store underneath. Also, Ash designed an alfresco dining area, utilising the old paving, adding stone chips and they created a level area, surrounded by a garden seating area. One problem they dealt well with was the garden being hilly, on various levels, so new brick steps were created which link the areas to the lower garden. They are polite, helpful and thoughtful. Good workers.

Professional job from start to finish. Courteous, friendly and tidy tradespeople. Ash explained options when providing quotes and the design changed due to recommendations from him which in the end was the correct option for the finish required. Would have no problem recommending them. They are due to return in the New Year to complete the remaining jobs that I require.

Ash made an excellent job of clearing a rough area of garden and extending an existing block-paved driveway to make an additional parking area. He also levelled the ground around existing shrubs and palms, laid a weed-proof membrane and covered it all with Cotswold chippings. He worked enthusiastically and with the assistance of Jim, finished the work on time and on budget. He is extremely capable, reliable and reasonably priced.
