  We were absolutely thrilled with the work completed by the Stevens Homes team! Honestly, they exceeded all our expectations. From the initial consultation, we felt completely at ease. The entire building process was so professional, seamless, and, surprisingly, stress-free which was a huge relief for a project of this size. What really stood out was the communication. We were kept informed at every stage of the project, which made us feel really involved. The team itself was fantastic—always polite, incredibly tidy, and respectful of our space and routine.

  High standard of work carried out quickly and on time.

  We are very pleased with this job which involved fitting a new fire door and frame to the shared boiler room serving our Almshouses. Martin did a very professional job in a less than ideal location as the walls of the room are in very poor condition and far from straight. All work completed the same day to a high standard and room left clean and tidy. Best of all it passed inspection from Fire Service inspector. Would highly recommend.

  Completely refurbish the en suite including re-tiling, new shower, sink and toilet.

  We asked Martin to refurbish the en suite following the excellent work he completed on our extension. As expected the work was completed to the highest standard and to budget. He also helped us with planning the new layout which involved some tricky rerouting of plumbing. We now have a modern and more functional en suite which is a pleasure to use.

  Building a rear extension of approximately 34 square metres.

  Our 3rd time of using Martin and we were not disappointed. The build was completed to a very high standard and to budget. Despite ground issues with the water course level, Martin took these in his stride and communicated well throughout the project, making useful suggestions to optimise the quality of the extension. We could not be happier with the finish and would recommend Martin without hesitation.

  Side extension for new bedroom and wetroom

  We wanted to add a downstairs bedroom and wet room to our house and wanted a builder that would do all the planning, building and overseeing of the work and that was the service offered. The work was dealt with in a clean and effective manner and we were kept informed of what was going on at all times, it was easy to discuss what we wanted and how best to go about the job, there were some delays waiting for a bricklayer and tiler but we were kept up to date on these. We were very happy with the finished work that fulfilled our needs and expectations

  Demolish old garage and build new one with room above

  We engaged Martin and his team to build a garage extension with a bedroom and bathroom above our it. The work was carried out very quickly, and even though we had a wet summer, not a single day was lost due to weather. I would have no hesitation in recommending him.
