    We would highly recommend Steve, we’ve had him back 3 times over the past year to do both various bits including wallpapering and other decorating/ painting. He has excellent attention to detail and always competes the work to a really high standard. He’s managed to squeeze in a lot of work into a few days and never compromised on the quality. We had quite a bad finish on some areas after our build and Steve has been able to work miracles on making it look complete.

my name is Steven Field and my Business is called Steven Field Painting and Decorating Specialist's.

I Specialise in the Higher End of Decorating where the finished product is of the Highest Standard, Carried out in a Professional manner and with a minimum of fuss and disruption.

I have 30 years experience within the trade and have worked in all sectors of the industry.


I have extensive experience in hanging All Wallcoverings including Silks, Grasscloth, Suede, Bespoke Hand printed and all brands such as Zoffany, Cole & Son, House of Hackney, Harlequin, Tektura, Helen Sheen and Muraspec.


I also Specialise in Wallpaper Murals and have appeared on TV installing Murals as well as some very prestigious West End Residential and Commercial properties.

Airless and Hvlp Spraying is also a main part of my business and have invested considerably on 3 Spray units for the differing applications and materials that I Spray.

I have also invested in Professional Sanding and dustless extraction Systems that gives the highest standard of the most important stage of any Successful project, The Preparation, and combined with Spraying I manage to achieve a Very High standard of finish that's extremely clean and productive.


Where Spraying is not practical or desired the traditional methods of the brush and roller are used in conjunction with the Sanding and dustless extraction system to high effect.

I have also been awarded 4 times by The PDA for the work I have produced and am a active member upholding our shared values.
