    Bathroom Floor Tiling

    Steve did the ceramic floor tiles of our bathroom after removing the old, defective laminate floor covering. Since the beginning throughout the process, his communication and professionalism was excellent. At the same time, he is super friendly after you get to know him more and more. He completed his job smoothly as promised on the agreed day(s) and the quality of his job, including his attention to details, was simply perfect, even without any minor defects. I recommend him to anyone around Walton-on-Thames without any hesitation.

    Steve did a really professional job and gave us plenty of colour grout options as well his personal recommendation on finishing the edges with a metal tile trim. Super friendly and we plan to contact him for future work!

    Steve was an excellent tradesperson to work with. He conducted a thorough survey of the works and provided what I found to be straightforward and honest advice. He carried out the work in the time frame and budget agreed. Arrived on time and cleaned up after. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

    Steve did a stellar job replacing broken tiles in our bathroom and around our shower in our Edwardian apartment. He matched the tiles perfectly, carefully following the existing pattern to create a seamless blend. He is very reliable and accommodating, always keeping me informed about progress. My name is Steve, I’m a sole trader with over 20 years experience in all aspects of wall and floor tiling. I began my tiling career in Australia in 2000. After backpacking the previous year I was offered a job and apprenticeship at Randwick college, Sydney. After returning to England in 2005 I set up Steve Johnsen Tiling. We are a small, friendly, family run business, who pride ourselves in attention to detail and producing a precise finish. I take enormous pride in my work and im continually striving to leave customers with a finished product they can be proud of.


I joined Checkatade in 2007 and have been consistently working in Walton on Thames, (where I live with my wife and two teenage girls ) Weybridge, Hersham, Molsey, Esher, and all other local areas within a 5 miles radius or so.


I have a full range of the tiling skill sets , that enable me to complete all aspects of wall and floor tiling. I undertake complete house remodelling projects to simple tile replacements. No project is to big or small. I am a one trade, professional tiler that has been working on his craft for over 20 years , improving year on year, and always striving for perfection.


I will always endeavour to arrive in a timely manner, clean, fresh and ready to work. At the start of the job, I always like to consult with my customers to discuss the job and listen to any potential ideas they might have regarding the project. I will sheet up around the house and try to keep noise and dust to a minimum and most importantly leave your house in the same condition as I found it.
