A very disappointing service from a company I had heard were good. I thought I would get a top class service given the high price but that did not happen. Communication problems, not turning up when they said they would, etc. The driveway is fine but, given the cost, nothing special. The real problem is that they left a massive hole in the lawn. They said they would be back to fill it in but that was two months ago. I have chased and chased and they finally stopped responding at all. Had to pay someone else to fill it in. Would I recommend this company - No.

Living on the corner of a busy main road and a side road with parking at the front being taken over with neighbours continually assuming their space, we decided to move the location of our driveway from the rear of our property to the front. With requesting three quotations from very reputable companies, we had no regrets in choosing SC&Son Mike Every step of the way was explained clearly and giving options and advice. The team including Mick and Connor grafted in all weather and never failed to turn up. Rachael in admin was excellent with assisting in dealing the ever awkward BCP Council.

The team carried out the tarmacing of my drive over a 3 day period on 19th November. They were professional, friendly, considerate and left the front garden clean and tidy. I was impressed at the speed of the work and the amount of tradespeople involved (a bit like DIY SOS on day 3!). I was pleased with the overall cost for the drive/edging/stonework and some repair work and would thoroughly recommend Steve Collins. I have had several people recommend them to me and never considered another company for a quote

Hi Mike came to do a site visit and measured and discussed the options with me for my Driveway and Fencing. Very hardworking and professional teams then came and started the works. Finished to a very high standard. Thank you to all concerned.

Mick and his team did an excellent job in repairing and putting tarmac on my drive. They turned up on time and started work immediately and finished the job in good time due to their hard work. Their quote for the work was reasonable and the finished job was just what we wanted.

The team that came to tarmac my drive and lay a patio at the rear of the house were super professional, turned up on time, worked like madmen, kept me informed of options and progress and we were super happy with the end result. However I'm disappointed with the service once they have your money. Two patio slabs cracked and I needed them replacing. It took about a month of leaving messages that either were ignored or replied to with promises that were never kept I had to resort to making social media threats before they finally came and fix things. The fix was good once done
