Quoted for damp treatment which was so extortionate our mortgage company would not use the report. We then got further quotes from two PCA registered companies for ~£4000. When asking if there may have been a mix up in quotes, they refused to look into it. When we complained, they later emailed saying their quote was reasonable on a house valued at £1m (ours is actually £340k!). Avoid at all costs.
