This is the second time that Karl has swept our log burner! He has good knowledge of different types of log burners and was thorough and checked each stage of sweep. He gave advice on what log type to burn and how to maintain a good burn,. I had excellent service from this company. Karl came on time, by appointment, and kept me well informed about the progress and pricing of the job. He found a substantial birds nest blocking the chimney, which he was able to show my using a scope. This was fully removed, and he left the hearth and room clean and tidy. Later, I was able to seek advice about how best to deal with the draft from the flue. Having your chimney swept on an annual basis can help to keep you safe, keep your costs down long-term, and keep on top of anything that needs doing. A clear chimney is more efficient, and you can spend less money on fuel! An annual sweep may also be required for your home insurance policy.
We're a family team, trusted in the community, and we take pride in doing what we say we're going to do! We'll never leave a job unfinished.
Our chimney cleaning service includes:
- An external inspection of the stack or flue from ground level
- A visual inspection of your fire or log burner, to include recommendations of remedial work
- A rotary power chimney sweep
- A type 2 smoke test
- Guidance on carbon monoxide safety and preventative measures
- A certificate for insurance
