  Absolutely Brilliant - Amazing workmanship

  We have been wanting to have our stairs changed with new wooden treads and Glass panels, so I searched Google as you do, & I came across Ricky & Step above Stairs as he was so close to us. From his visit we could tell he knew what he was doing and understood exactly what we wanted, just installed confidence. I have real bug bear with traders, being unreliable, not updating and bad communication, Ricky has been brilliant, even worked around the other bits of work we had going on, cant recommend him enough, Once decorator & carpet fitter have been in I will send Ricky pictures -So Pleased

  Refurb staircase to oak and hang new doors.

  Ricky is a complete professional. He showed us some previous work from another job. He knew exactly what we wanted. He’d turn up when he said he would, and even had help to get the job finished in time. Completely refurbed our staircase from a boring white with spindles to oak and glass. It really makes the hallway look fantastic. Also replace twelve doors to oak, even making up a frame work to replace some old Upvc doors. What we spent with Ricky is a great investment in our house and worth every penny. Workmanship 10/10. And left the place spotless at the end of each day.

  Staircase refurbishment

  Ricky was prompt from quote to completion. He came back in person on more than one occasion to answer questions and provide samples prior to us deciding on works. Price agreed and work carried out within agreed timescale. Ricky was respectful of my home and carried out the work to a very high standard, nothing was too much trouble and he delivers with attention to detail. The end result far exceeded our expectations. Would definitely recommend and wouldn't hesitate to use again.

  I am overjoyed at the fantastic job Ricky at Step Above carried out. He was friendly, reliable, a conscientious and skilled tradesman with great customer service abilities that ensure I was kept informed at all times about the job. The end result looks absolutely perfect - I would highly recommend Step Above to everyone and; personally use this company (100%) again.
