I needed a reliable and trustworthy builder to carry out a total renovation of a house I had just bought. This was a major job lasting approx 4 months and working with Marcus and his team has been a brilliant experience. Everything has been completed exactly as I wanted and Marcus kept me informed at every stage (including when the unforeseen issues arise along the way as always happens with such a major job). It has been a great pleasure to rely on Marcus and his team and I cannot praise him and recommend him more highly. A huge thank you for a job so well done.

As often happens there were set backs, which were frustrating but Marcus was always on hand and issues resolved. He was very flexible and able to do additional jobs that had been overlooked on our original quote. We would definitely recommend Marcus to family and friends, and planning on using Steeles again in the future.

Marcus and his team have completed the work to a high standard and we are very pleased with the result. We chose his company because he was able to put forward some effective solutions to keep our costs manageable without impacting the quality of the build. Marcus was a pleasure to deal with. He kept us well informed throughout the build. He was able to think his way around some problems with the plans and was open to our input. We engaged him for some additional work which he has also completed to the same standard. We would happily use him for future projects.

I picked Marcus out of all the possible builders because he seemed honest and a good communicator. And boy am I glad I did. I’m a first time flat renovator and it’s a tough road - especially with several difficult stakeholders (council, freeholder etc) which either caused delays or changes to plans. Marcus remained flexible and professional. The biggest thing I learned throughout this process is to work with a builder who you trust and has your back - and I’m glad to say Marcus does. He also has decent opinions about design and how to reduce costs while making the place look premium.
