Fitting internal wall insulation on two walls

    Posted 16 July

SWI provided a competitive quote. We agreed a date, which they kept to. They did the work efficiently and effectively. Mess was kept to a minimum. They provided a manufacturer’s warranty for the insulation system used. Very impressed.

    Reinstallation of Insulation

    Posted 06 May

My property is a new build conversion from an Old Barn, and after moving in it became quickly apparent that there was poor and in some areas non-existent insulation! After approaching several companies, Joe and the team were the only people who actually cared and were up for taking on the job. Within in a week they had completely removed all pre-existing walls and insultation, installed new insultation, reinstalled walls and plastered! Not an easy task in rooms with pitches and Grade 2 listed beams! Stay Warm were absolutely fantastic and really have made a huge difference to our house!

External Wall Insulation - Mineral Wool, Brick slips and render

    Posted 29 April

Joe at Staywarm was an excellent communicator, answering many queries in a friendly and supportive way. When we lost our first builders (and our deposit), Staywarm were very accommodating and kind in completing over half the work without charging upfront. David and his team were extremely helpful and skilled in removing pebbledash, attaching the mineral wool insulation, brick slips and render and we felt very safe hands as he liaised with the windows company in working out how the complex detail of how the new windows world fit. Delighted to have used Staywarm.

Full external wall insulation to detached house

    Posted 19 March

We had a very good experience with Stay Warm Insulation, they provided a comprehensive and detailed quote, with separate pricing for optional work. They were flexible on the start date and communicated with us throughout the job via WhatsApp. The installation team were very professional and just ‘got on with it’ only seeking clarification where necessary, and tidied up at the end of each day. We are pleased with the finished work and look forward to reaping the full benefits next winter.

    External wall insulation

    Posted 15 February

We've had a fantastic experience with Stay Warm Insulation, even before the works started. A thorough assessment meant that they gave us insulation options with pros and cons along with pricing. The installation team arrived at the agreed time, working a full-day, and occasionally longer. Attention to detail was impressive with work redone where necessary. Protective coverings were used and replaced where necessary. Interruption to household services were planned, communicated and minimised. Overall experience was amazing and has gone a long way to restore faith in the trades

    Solid wall insulation

    Posted 10 February

Be careful, they do not communicate every part of the job. They installed uPVC first windowsills without asking what style I would like. The work was completed to a really poor standard, so i requested this be corrected and they put wooden windowsills in. When they completed the work fully, they put in MDF and charged an extra £200 pounds. I feel this is really dodgy behaviour from their side and not good customer service. But they argue that MDF is what i asked for. In many emails I said wooden, not once did they say is MDF good enough. MDF and wood are not the same thing.

Response from Stay Warm Insulation Ltd

We are sorry to hear that you were not fully satisfied with the service. However, we would like to provide clarity on the situation. From the beginning, uPVC window sills were the standard installation. When you requested a change, we offered two options: redoing them in uPVC or upgrading to a wooden finish, which you acknowledged would incur an additional charge. We installed moisture-resistant MDF, a commonly used and durable option for window sills, ensuring a clean and professional finish. This project was extensively delayed due to multiple revisions and changes along the way. We remained patient and cooperative throughout, committed to ensuring the job was completed to a high standard despite the challenges. Payment was also significantly delayed, yet we continued to work in good faith. We always aim for transparency and customer satisfaction, offering solutions when concerns are raised. Our goal is to complete every job to the highest standard, and we encourage open communication to resolve any issues. Stay Warm Insulation LTD.
