  Had these guys to pollard a huge lime tree, Hazel tree and crab apple to both back & front gardens. They were extremely knowledgeable, courteous hard working and left everywhere very tidy. We were really happy with the work & would not hesitate to use them again or recommend.

  Conifer removal plus tree and shrub shaping

  Smith & Sons Tree Surgery did a great job of removing and stump grinding a tall conifer plus reshaping a few tall trees and various shrubs in a garden that had become overgrown with difficult access. Simon has extensive knowledge of his subject and his helpful suggestions of what needed to be done were very much needed and appreciated. He and the lads worked hard and managed to create a tidy garden for a very fair price. So I have no hesitation in recommending Simon to anyone looking for a really good surgeon.

  I don't normally write reviews but for Smith and sons it is a must. Simon arrived on time completing the work quickly and effectively. An obvious expert in all aspects of this work the conifers and stumps were completely removed with it being hard to see where they once grew! A fantastic job completed with a smile and a great customer service. If you are uncertain about getting a good job done contact Simon, you won't be disappointed!

  Knowledgeable, hard working, reasonably priced tree surgery team

  Easy to contact. Quick response with appointment for assessing jobs. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Had a cancelation and asked if could come at short notice. In one day they cut up 3 large fallen trees, reduced one threatening to fall, removed two large tree branches overhanging a pond, reduced about 16 field maples on a steep slope, pruned a lime tree to perfect shape and solved a problem with a conifer hedge. All for a very reasonable price. Would strongly recommend them without reservation.
