  Painting three bedrooms - walls, ceilings, woodwork and fireplaces

  It's a somewhat common trope that English trades people don't work hard. Steven absolutely puts paid to that. He is reliable, punctual, tidy, respectful, an excellent and timely communicator, and most importantly of all - a professional who takes real pride in their work. Recommend without hesitation and will be using again for all painting and decorating needs going forward.

  Superb cottage living & dining room redecoration.

  Living room and dining room painted. Black ceiling beams treated with zincer and painted white. All imperfections in the walls corrected. Great attention to detail and care to get everything just right. Rooms left scrupulously clean. Work completed ahead of schedule and good value. Very pleased with the work.

  Outstanding Work – Front Door Looks Brand New

  I booked SRM to paint an external front door and I couldn’t be happier with the result. Steven sanded, primed, and painted the door to a very high standard — it genuinely looks brand new. He was prompt, reliable, and extremely professional from start to finish, with great communication throughout the whole process. He also took the time to sweep the front door area, which really shows pride in his work and respect for the space. I would 100% recommend SRM and wouldn’t hesitate to use Steven again in the future.

  Painting hallway and landing

  Steven did painting and did a very thorough job and took longer than the time expected and even came back an extra day just to make sure it was perfect and the way I wanted. Very happy with the final result and overall experience. Will not be using any other decorator in future.

  Fantastic craftsmanship.

  Very happy with the work carried out by SRM decor. We wanted a difficult area behind a wood burner and chimney breast relined with backing paper and wallpapered with a rather intricate pattern. The walls were in poor condition and as an older house, not entirely even! SRM took painstaking care over only 2 days and delivered a fantastic outcome that we’re really pleased with. Definitely recommend.
