    Living Room and Stairs/Landing/Hall

    Stu is very professional. He gave a quote and that was the price paid. He is friendly and very hard working. He explained what the job entailed and worked diligently. He prepared walls, hung a door, framed a door, painted and wallpapered the living room and stairs/landing and hall. He is very tidy, reliable and does a fantastic job. Stu has previously fitted our bathroom, built partition walls and done the ceiling in our kitchen. Highly recommended.

    Painting and wallpaper decorating

    Stu did a fantastic job painting and wallpapering our living and dining room, stairs and hallway and bedroom, sanding walls, patching up cracks. Everyhere looks great. All done in 12.5 days. He worked very hard throughout was very respectful and courteous even making sure my indoor cats didnt escape.. And all for a fair price. Totally recommend.

    Painting and decorating

    Stu repaired and repainted our stairs, hall, living room and bathroom. He was clean and tidy and completed all the work to a very high standard. He arrived when he said he would and went above and beyond to fix a door that had been broken as long as we have lived here. I would happily recommend him for any painting jobs.

    Full house decorating

    Stu decorated the house more or less from top to bottom and still managed to finish in time for Christmas. This included painting very high ceilings and some wallpapering. He was able to give advice for some walls that weren’t in the best of condition and he was right about lining them first because they look so much better now. He was very friendly and obliging as always, he even put up with my dogs wanting a fuss every time they saw him! I already have my next job lined up for next year. Thanks so much!!

S.P.Griffiths Building and Decorating services was established in 1990 and have been trading in the North East for the past 15 years.

I originally trained as a decorator then spent 10 years working as a professional building contractor, building up a collection of skills including plastering, tiling, joinery, brickwork, pointing, roofing and guttering, bathroom and kitchen fitting.

I am now a sole trader and pride myself in providing a friendly, professional and personal service. I offer free quotations and estimates at a time convenient to you.
